Dear Colleagues:
I am looking forward to seeing you all in June at the 2014 conference in Newark, Delaware. The conference host Jim Richards and the program council of Carole Tucker, Sherry Backus and David Hudson are putting together an exciting scientific program. This year's conference is a bit of a departure for GCMAS as it will take place at a major academic center. We hope to attract a lot of enthusiastic students to this meeting, as well as the usual mix of clinicians and engineers that makes our society unique. The abstract deadline in January 10th, registration is open, and the meeting starts on June 24. I am focusing my efforts on increasing the membership of our organization. If you have colleagues who do not regularly attend our annual meeting, or who are not GCMAS members, please reach out to these individuals and put them in contact with our organization. My philosophy is that anyone interested in human movement belongs in our society. It is also essential for us to grow into new domains to remain both relevant and solvent, so I hope you will join me in this effort.
