Area Attractions

Area Details
Denver is located at the “Gateway to the Rockies” at the intersection of Interstate 25 and 70 in central Colorado. From here you can reach almost any site in the region within 90 minutes. Denver sits at the foothills of the Rockies in the midst of some of the most beautiful scenery to be found – farmland, mountains, rivers, lakes and forests. During the winter months, this area is famous for its skiing. Denver itself is a relatively small metropolitan center with a population of approximately 550,000 surrounded by the Denver Metro Area with an additional two million people. There are a wide variety of restaurants, bars, museums, galleries, night clubs and gathering places within walking distance of the conference site. For establishments further away a free shuttle is available along the 16th Street Mall.

Bonus Day
Ski Day at Winter Park Resort via The Ski Train, with optional tour of the National Sport Center for the Disabled (NSCD).
